Star Wars Pasties

I did this shoot last week and it was a lot of fun.
My little Model had just gotten these new Star Wars Pasties(those little thingies that go on your nipples!), but she didn't have any kind of adhesive to attach them with. So after a frantic search came up empty handed, we discussed several possibilities, I finally suggested that we just let gravity do its thing until she got the proper materials!! After all, there was no reason the shot had to be taken standing up.
So this is one of several shots taken with the Star Wars pasties in place!!!
She is a Star Wars fanatic and we did a few other Star Wars themed shots as well. Next time we shoot, I'll dress her up as Yoda, or maybe Java the Hut! LoL
hope you enjoy the pic!!

Very appealing ample-bodied model. She photographs well. I like the composition and framing with her curves placed just so. Let me suggest you put more light on her legs -- bouncing it there or by diffused direct lighting. Overall, she looks a little underexposed, which of course you can correct in post-production. Count yourself fortunate to have a willing model to shoot. Post more.

Okay, with the permission of the OP, I'm posting an edited version of his photo, to show its potential. I did only an Auto correct and a minor highlight adjustment in Adobe Camera Raw. In Photoshop, I did some basic edits like setting the black, white, and mid-gray points. I applied the Shadows and Highlights adjustment to expose more of the cloth she lies on. I did little more. It needs a few more tweaks, though. For example, on my computer monitor, I can still detect a slight magenta hue, likely coming from the color of the cloth. This is fixable. The photograph now does more justice to the attractive model.

AV, thanks for taking the time to tweak my pic! A little brighter is a bit better. I had actually used a gradient to tone the legs down, thinking I wanted to keep the attention on the areas that would matter the most. Perhaps I'll try a combination of the two. I haven't posted it to my website because I wasn't quite happy with it.
Lets see if there are any additional suggestions from those that might know. I have quite a few of her. I only posted this one because it was a bit more revealing which is more in the spirit of this new section.
Admin should tweak the description to include any kind of real Modeling poses, not just skin!!!
Thanks...., SS

Good morning. Technically speaking, her legs continue the compositional strength of the curves. Thus her legs do not give weight but complete a whole.

Let me say that effective composition, as here, can carry a photograph a long way, by compelling the eye.

Keep up the good work.

Boudoir photography, to say nothing of nude photography, I have found, requires way more than a lensman: Willing model, favorable setting, flattering lighting, proper makeup, interesting poses, people skills, model releases, etc.

For my part, I had to wait years until I felt ready to do justice to a model with my photography.

My point: The field of boudoir photography self-limits by its difficulty and thus fewer practitioners of it will appear here. Maybe more will appear in time once they know about this forum dedicated to this field.

That's the eternal problem isn't? Not only does one need archival quality ink, but an archival quality model, and they are scarce indeed!

Nobody every said learning photography is easy. Photography involves craft and and gaining skill. One learns these by doing over time. But I for one find this pursuit more than worthwhile. I sense the presence of many other like-minded individuals on this forum.

The nail color doesn't match anything else. It's not that I care, it's just an opinion.

I too am a fan of Star Wars. The lighting in the movie is often dark and mysterious. I think having the light gradually fade out on the model's legs works well for this theme. Perhaps if the theme was a day at the beach, anotherview's rendition would be more appropriate.

Presentation of a photograph depends on its intention, use, purpose, context, subjectivity, etc. The photographer decides.
