Well, after my trip to Vietnam in 2013, it's time to plan another trip.
In 2013 I was in Saigon and the MeKong Delta and this time I'll be up north in Da Nang.
My Grandson is getting married there and I thought it would be a great excuse to visit VN again and take lots of photos.

(Must be an inside joke.)
Looking forward to images of your trip.

I don't think this reply could be more rude than it seems.

I checked a page of his post history.
(One page was enough.)
I did too. Strange to say the least.
Kenny is merely staying true to his history.
Enjoy your trip Sarge. I'm sure your grandson will be proud to have you travel to honor his day.
Be safe. Roc

Are you mixing him up with Ole Sarg???
Thanks everyone for the notes. Ken, please refrain from showing folks what an ass you are. I served in VN for 6 1/2 years as an advisor and the vietnamese people are fabulous. My trip in 2013 proved that as there was no animosity towards me or other visitors from Australia, Japan, Korea, China and the US there.

I wish I were going with you. I thought VN was beautiful, especially China Beach. I work PT at a Sam's club and the best imported wood furniture comes from VN. The people are industrious and as you say friendly to Americans. I was there only in '71 but would not hesitate to return for a visit. Have a great time and post some shots on your return.
I was there from '67 to '68 and think it would indeed be interesting to see the changes.
I, too, look forward to any pictures you might share.
Have a happy, safe trip . . .
I was there 68-69 and would also like to see the changes. Have a safe trip Sarge and bring back some pictures please.
