Just wondering if anyone has ideas on how to improve the forum whether by adding a specific technical or general knowledge area and what are your pet peeves about this site if any?
Hopefully Admin sees this and makes chages based on your (the members) suggestions.

I love the forum!!!! The only thing I would like is to have notices sent to my mail when there are new posts to the Macro and people photography, ( I am signed up) This is the only forum I have joined and it has been great!!!

Thanks Mwac, I did not know this. As for the forum I love it also,it is very informative. I was just trying to be pro-active with the submission of the post.

As far as I see there are different forums for different issues such as tech support, gallery's etc... my only pet peeve is people that forget that this is about photography and enjoyment of it and the betterment of our hobby or business and decide to insult or ridicule others. Save that crap for Facebook, not here.

Yes, there is one person who evidently is well known for doing nothing but berating and calling people names and insults for no reason. He tried to get into it with me a few days ago and I just kept telling him I wasn't going to play his game and he called me all kinds of names and insults. I never heard of this person and got pvt msgs' from people saying they've had the same problems with him-that all he does is create arguments or at least try to and is very rude to everyone. I reported him several times to admin but don't know what if anything happened. I know people argue over politics and a lot of other things but when someone posts a photo or whatever coming back with ''what a stupid picture A**'' is way out of line and unnecessary. In my opinion these forums as I said are for a shared mutual interest in photography and critique is always welcome we know. But rude, foul mouthed language and insults here are unacceptable. As far as I'm concerned if you don't have something nice to say then keep your mouth shut! Now that being said, critique and constructive critcism is a different story...

My first pet peeve message was deleted. Too controversial I guess or I wasn't nice enough in the way I said it. UHH is an interesting and informative site with a lot of knowledgeable people providing lots of good information. My pet peeve is those few who post message after message that has nothing to do with the subject of the original topic or a question related to the original topic. Some of those have been members for a short time but have posted hundreds of messages.
