My pleasure, I have used FS for several years and it has not disappointed me. I edit in PS CS6 and it can be linked with the E key on your PC, I did forget to say it is PS only. Gary

Many, but I prefer Irfanview - fast and easy. It's free, and it loads in less than a second. If you get it, download the plug-ins, too.

Using a PC with Windows 10? Just 'right click' on your photo, select 'SEND TO' and choose 'Email Recipient', then you have the option to send small, medium, large, etc. Nice feature and it doesn't mess with your original photo.

If you have Lightroom, that would be my suggestion. It is very good at things like this! Best of luck.

Many.

If you use a Mac, you can do it inside Mail or else using Preview outside of mail. If you use Windows, follow PoppaJoes suggestion above, and there are other options, you could use WORD, and maybe Windows Media will do it.

I downloaded and installed Irfanview successfully. When I downloaded the plug-ins Norton AV grabbed it and said it was unsafe and deleted it. I also tried the alternative download source with the identical results. Anybody know what to do?

Actually you don't need to resize. When I send large files, rather than attach them, I'll most of the time include them in the body of the message with the "insert photo" feature. It works very well, the size of the files are automatically reduced. If you do want to send full size you can do that with the "attachment" feature and send them one or two at a time.

By "resize" do you mean dimensions, e.g. 4x6, 5x7, etc. or do you mean the actual size of the file? If the latter, your postprocessing program will allow you to save at various jpg compressions.

Most camera manufacturers have "for free" editing software that you can use to accomplish the resizing. Besides resizing, they provide many other editing options.
