Just joined the site, so I thought I'd post one of my more recent shots to see what people think of my work. I'm open to constructive criticism, but please be specific about what you would have done differently, how, and why, if you have something you would change about the shot.

Great capture! Unfortunately the eyes are darkly shadowed. I'd like to see what it looks like with the eyes selectively brightened and the vertical branch on the left cropped out.

Great composition, the lighting is awful, which is obviously not your fault.

The only problem I see is that branch that crosses the whole pic. With some patience you can PhotoShop it out

Perhaps the eyes could be lightened a LITTLE but the vertical branch is the frame for the picture isn't it? Carefully framed I'd've thought.

Thanks for the critiques. Been a while since I was on the site til today, but better late than never, right? Yes, the vertical branches were intended to help frame the shot in the original edit, but I hope this is better. =)
