This is the first photo I've uploaded here. We went to see the tulips at the Wooden Shoe Bulb Farm in Oregon. Photo taken with my Canon PowerShot SX10.

I used my telephoto lens to get this close.

Very colorful. I love flower photos. I have to settle for the flowers in my own yard or the wild flowers at our local metro parks, though. Did you shoot one of a whole field of them? That would be nice to post, also.

Heading for the U of M arboretum tomorrow to shoot tulips and marigolds. That is if there are any growing and I'm sure there will be. It's been raining here for 20 of the last 23 days so as I drive around town don't see alot blossoming yet but I'm hoping the arboretum will be different. Nice shot and hope to post a few of mine in the next couple of days..........

Thanks.. yes, I did. I wouldn't call this a great photo, but it definitely shows a lot of color!

Beautiful. I think I would crop out the background trees and just a little of the foreground green, leaving just the riot of color that is the tulip field, though.

Great idea. Thanks. I wasn't sure if I should leave the green for contrast, so left it. I'll try your suggestion!

Okay, let me know what you think about this. I took out the fir trees completely.

It looks awfully blurry to me.

Looks much better. Now it shows up that you were holding the camera just a little tilted, though. Straighten that up and you've got a keeper.

Keep on posting, you are doing great.
