Here are three shots from the backyard today. The Hot Lips Salvia is very interesting because the same plant has flowers that are predominately white with just a touch of red. The tiny Cassius butterfly is nestled in a small flower. The butterfly is only approximately 1/2 inch so it was very difficult to shoot. I plan to try with a longer lens to see if I can get a shot where the entire butterfly is more visible.
