Sony A 99 for sale

Hey guys, I've got a Sony A99 body for sale for $1750 delivered. ( U.S. only ) I used this camera one time so it is literally brand new. I have to give some background for this sale...I'm old and have arthritis in my fingers and I do mainly fire/rescue photography and submit to the NCSHP as well as some media, law enforcement, fire departments, etc. This means that I generally have to hold the camera for about an hour and a half per incident and as awesome as this camera is...it is simply too heavy for me to hold for that length of time. The only day that I used it we had three wrecks and when I got home that night my hands were telling me that I really didn't need a camera with that weight. Now, when I said awesome, I meant it. This is a really great camera and with the Sony reliability should give you years of service. I have gone through four Sony's and improved the camera with each upgrade and I'm currently using my old A65 and when the A99 gets sold I'll upgrade to the A77, which is about the weight of my 65. Sounds complicated but it really isn't. I have the box, all materials, battery, charger, strap, everything that came with the camera! If you'll check eBay or Amazon you'll find that this is well below the normal retail of $2000. I've never sold on here before but I have a very high eBay rating and you can contact me at skylinefirepest@gmail.com. I'm located in North Carolina. Thanks

Does the A99 have the picture effects feature that my older A65 has? I love the HDR painting mode and use that a lot

To be honest with you, I don't use those effects since I do fire and rescue photography...so almost all of what I do is point, compose, and shoot. But some of my stuff goes to court and gets blown into poster size photos so I've steadily upgraded through the years. I'm getting packed to head out West so I'll give you a quick answer...I would expect the A99 to do everything that my A65 does, only better. It is an awesome camera and in the interest of time if you look at one of the ads on eBay they generally give most of the stats. I'm pretty computer illiterate so I don't know how to post that stuff. Thanks for asking and I'll try to make some time to give you a better answer.

Hi, I took a QUICK look in the manual and didn't find what you were talking about...but I also didn't find it in my A65 manual either. So the honest answer still has to be that I don't know...simply because of the functions of the camera that I use and really like. The 99 has two memory card slots and I thought that was convenient although I use a 32 gig card and keep spares in my truck so I wouldn't expect to have to use that function other than keeping a card in that slot for emergencies. There is a video that Sony has on their website that explains some of the different functions of the 99 and that might help you some. I just got my truck back from the man that was working on it so I better go load some more stuff! Thanks, Frank
