Good info. But it's still a bit confusing. I attended a couple of classes put on by Canon at their Learning Center in Costa Mesa, CA, and they talked about ICC profiles, 3rd party papers, etc. One thing I found out is that choosing the correct paper type in the Canon print driver is very important for the ICC profile to work. That said, I'm certain that when you create an ICC profile with a ColorMunki, you need to select the closest paper style for the 3rd party paper that you are profiling, and after you create that profile you need to stay consistent in using that same paper type and your new ICC profile for it to work properly. Now I know that when naming the ICC profile, I should abbreviate the paper type and the name of the paper I'm using so that I get the driver settings right before printing.
