I want to convert my ball head plates from the Manfrotto RC2 plate to Arca-Swiss compatible and was wondering if anyone could make any recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Funny, I'm in the middle of doing the same thing. Really Right Stuff for the ball head plate and L bracket for my D810, eBay for half a dozen base plates for things like pano head, gimbal head, an older camera body that is seldom used, etc.

I convert a LOT of old Manfrotto ball heads to Arcs, I use only the Desmond mount. Simple and very well built at only $30 each.

Like I said, I use the DAC-2 mount. No idea what Q2 is referring to.

There are a host of options available from China on aliexpress, and a huge variety of plates available some are camera specific. I have ordered many items from the site without a problem

I just did this last week, I got a plate on Ebay which attaches to the RC2 with a 1/4-20 to 3/8-16 adapter screw which can be gotten through B&H or Lowes. This whole thing will cost about $20 and it works great.

Here is the Ebay link for the arca swiss plate:

I have a Manfrotto 498 BH. It had been converted using a Kirk clamp. I love it. I think that AS clamp is the only way to go. I use 055 XproB legs.

I have a couple of clamp (no Name). I may let them go. PM if anyone desires.

I have done the same, except I converted a Vanguard head using RRS clamp and L bracket.

Forget the conversion. Buy a better swiss-arca ballhead from Really Right Stuff or Aractech. The Manfrotto is not stable. It is proprietary and problematic. It tightens buy finger and always comes loose. It is small by comparison to swiss-arca. But suit yourself. Buy Manfrotto and you will eventually regret it when you camera falls into the River of No-Return.
