Final Evaluation please. I hope for once I've taken care of all the big and little glitches that always seem to bite me.
Edit: And it appears the right-hand panel needed to be brightened a bit.

Interesting idea for a triptych and yep the right hand panel could use a little brightening but overall its different and interesting. Format is what makes this cos the food is not framed and the glasses are. A good idea and one I shall unashamedly copy.

Thank's for the comment. I wasn't too happy with the food presentation before, and gave this a try. Very gratifying that you agree with it. I've added +40 on the brightness slider and all is better now (except the darned reflection of the red bowl on the first glass).

for me, the center image is just too different in mood and in POV from the others. For me, a face or group of faces perhaps would have brought the image home as a celebration of friends - which of course might not have been your goal. Anyway, my two-cents worth..

Thank you for your take on this Piet. I was more on the track for symbolism in this, and, since the function was held after-hours at a winery the glasses were the story tellers. I separated the foods presentation as the bridge between beginning and end. I felt faces would have brought things to a specific, when I was after general. Having never tried anything like this before I was experimenting the whole way.

The center plate is like a period on a sentence. It doesn't separate, it jarringly stops. If a plate you wanted instead of a face, I am all for it, just saying a down low side view would have kept the flow/"table height view" going - which you have shown us is a very cool view of things.

About experimenting - it sounds like you had a blast!

A low-down side shot of the plate was out of the question. Things were pretty tight, and except for a macro shot I had to just hold the camera up to get separation from the plate The shots of the glasses were (1) while everyone was in line for the food, and (3) after most people had left.
