NOTIFICATION regarding a QUIRK involving the Patona-brand Li+ ion Battery CHARGER for Sony A-mt cameras (as sold by B&H)

I'm not certain whether this notification should be in the MPD or Links & Resources. I just purchased 4 Patona batteries, type NP-FM500H for Sony A-mt cameras and one Patona charger. There's just one little quirk about the charger I received: to use the a/c option for charging, the cord supplied is terminated with a male European-type electrical plug, i.e. two round prongs, not flat as are used in the U.S.
No, I haven't notified B&H Photo Video of this mis-shipment, probably because I have my own workaround to using it in the U.S. I have an otherwise useless leftover power cable (from a defunct a/c adapter for a Sony portable DVD player,) that has the same exact shape that plugs into the charger itself and at the other end has a male two-prong U.S.-type plug. I'm not upset about this mis-shipment as I'll be readily able to use the charger during my trip to Europe this summer.
So far, this type of Patona Li+ ion battery seems to function well. By the way, the other two options for the charger include USB and an automobile-type plug.
