Additional comment: For a little aid in manual focusing -- whether with this lens or other manual focus -- one might try the Nikon magnifying eyepiece (DK-17M, I think). It gives a slight, not huge, magnification.

I was interested in some older prime AIs Nikon manual focus lenses in the past, I desired a 100/135mm. EBay sold them, but a lot of them said they had dust and fungus. That always scared me off. Those old lenses are quality, if you can find a good one that works OK.

Thank you William,
The DK-17 can magnify as much as 1.2X and I can buy online here for about US$ 30.
My question is, is it attached as the second eyepiece to the existing one or we have to replace it?, thank you.
Regards,

I think it looks good, the flowers in front are the subject, and the foliage is focused out, like bokeh!
