While walking with my wife recently, we spotted a young fox that lives within 100 feet of the Minimart in our town. While I squatted taking pictures, it came within 6 feet of me and was very curious.
I used a Nikon Coolpix S6100 point & shoot set on Auto Scene.
Looking me over
So bored it yawned
The den is a culvert
Excellent shots! I'm amazed sometimes where I find wild animal tracks!
Great pics of this beautiful Fox!
Did you see any evidence that people might be feeding it?
That could account for it being so tame, which is not necessarily a good thing for a wild animal.

No, Sqamp Gator, there was no sign of that. Several people have been observing them(3-4 young kits and 1 adult) for some time, but don't bother them. Thanks for the comment.
Good shot, the fox looks as though it is used to people,i've only ever seen a fox once in my life and it bolted as soon as it saw me.Well done.

Thanks angler. It is a busy spot for a fox den. Lots of traffic into the minimart for gasoline, etc., as well as people walking past frequently.

Gator....I read in other threads that foxes are fairly friendly animals for wild animals and that this is not unusual.

Great shots! I am jealous... I get quick glimpses of one but I am never ready. Mine must be very shy. LOL
