Welcome to Day 127 :) It is Cinco De Mayo weekend so today is a day for Spanish Heritage Celebrations.
I ended up going to a chihuahua race LOL it was a riot. Here are a few examples to get us started. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

The dog in the first photo looks just like my dog Jill. I got Jack and Jill when they were puppies to keep them from going to the shealter. My free dogs have cost me a lot of money. I just spent $120 to have them groomed. My oldest grandson started calling Jack Jackareno when he was about 2. I don't even know how to spell that but I did think it was cute. Everyone calls him Jack most of the time.

I know that feeling .. we have a pure bred sheltie that we have shaved a couple times a year ... and now the baby heathen is going to need grooming too

Well today was the annual bike blessing and over 1,000 motorcycles turned out at the downtown city park...the bikes ringed the park and then up and down the side streets too... Alaska has a short but very enthusiastic riding season...Also a few pictures from my art show...no spanish archetecture here although we do have a large spanish community...hmmm maybe I should take a picture of an igloo???

If all you need to do is shave the dogs....I have to tell you... We got a barbershop shaver and saved a ton of money....but I could never get nail clipping down for the dog...it was just too much of a struggle and I was scared. But my cat let me do it with ease..go figure.

no one will mind. love the blessing of the bikes...do they bless the riders too.......

Up here they do as the Basilica in Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré. They als do a weekend blessing of RVs and both blessings draw a crowd ad the RVs spend the weekend inthe lot. Cool! Holy Water Margaritas, clear and weak
