Clouds always amaze my with the depth that they add into a photograph.
On the way to Dolus lakes and it looked like storm clouds were rolling in.
On the way back from Dolus lakes
Looking up from Dolus Lake No. 1 at the clouds as they pass by.
Liked your cloud shots 1 and 2 the most.
Real neat cloud photos. Good Job.

Nice shots Mark. Are these with a CP? If not have you tried one?

Nice shots, there was a couple of blokes on the UK BBC news programme yesterday morning, both members of the cloud appreciation society. Some of the photos where absolutely brilliant, mostly animals dolphins and faces.
I want to go wherever No. 3 is.
Thanks Erv. I'm not a professional photographer, so I'm not sure if I used a CP or not. If you're referring to a type of filter, then the answer is no.

Thanks. It's neat to know that there's actually an organized society that appreciates cloud shapes.
It's about 10 miles west of Deer Lodge, Montana and only requires a 2.5 mile hike after driving to the trailhead.

While in school in Montana my son learned to fly a small airplane. I think he would move there if he could find a job. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful pictures.

You should think about trying one. Some times it will really help the sky look great. Oh, and yes a CP filter, sorry. ;)
