Some of my favorite images have been the simplest ones. Most of my images are not simple, so I challenged myself to "simplify". Sometimes referred to as "Minimalist" photography, space, composition, subject, texture, color etc. are used to create an image which appears simple but can convey complex art, emotion, stories. These articles are excellent with great examples. One is using your smart phone's camera to create "minimalist" images. (I am trying to better utilize my smart phone's camera.) Looking forward to your "simplified" images.

Bench on a rainy day
Wall as a background (a tip in one of the articles)
Tulip bud - using color to simplify
Simply nothing else interesting to shoot at the moment
I'll give this a shot, about as simple as you can get.

Simple is there - zoom in on the clump of daisies, or a couple of the lavendar spike till they fill the frame - or isolate them against the skiy - just a few thoughts
