Are you old enough to remember the original Radio Flyer wagons?

Shot and pp'd (yes, mostly playfully :) ) a couple of years ago, but thought it would be fun to post in FYC and see if this brings about a little nostalgia and reminiscing.

You are welcome to critique composition and processing and/or share your own fun "childhood memory" images in the thread.

Thanks!

Yes I remember them. We had the lower cost wagons from other places, I.e. Sears

An image my daughter took I need to revisit now that I know a bit more about post processing.

Wow! I was just thinking about this the other day. Around my eighth birthday I was first introduced to the magic of photography and how images would mysteriously appear on blank paper. The bath in the darkroom where the trays would be was a converted "little red wagon". There is no way I can recall what make it was but Radio Flyer is as good a guess as any.

Thanks for liking the avatar. It was special as we saw it on a walk with the great grand daughter, and there were many flying around.

They are a striking looking bird: I'm fortunate to have them visit a tree right outside my apartment in winter (for the fruit), even though they make a terrible mess :)

Growing up in the mountains of West Virginia, you could get some serious speed up in those things before you lost control and got dumped. Yes, I had one, and the skinned knees, hands, and elbows to prove it, lol!

I sadly have no photos from my childhood, or would be happy to put one up.

Your shot is a beauty, love the repeating shapes and colors in the line of wagons. Thanks for the memory!

I can't remember having a little red wagon. Things were pretty tight during the War years. A bicycle came shortly after.

Thank you so much for your visit, Randy. I'd love to have seen you in your childhood days, flying down WV mountainsides :)
