What is this deer doing?

I have never seen this stance before. No one in my family knows what is going on either. Any ideas?

Yes, she's urinating.
If you watch female deer getting up after they've been bedded down for a while they often take that stance. The bucks/stags sometimes do the same, though not as pronounced.

My guess is he is in a holding pattern while deciding whether he wants to jump and where he wants to jump. Just trying to make up his mind. :-)
