well, I though I had backed up my S5 to the cloud, but apparently that did not include backing up my calendar!
I have managed to transfer everything from my old phone (S5) to my new phone (S7 edge) EXCEPT my calendar. And to make things even more exciting, when I look at my calendar on the S5, all my events are gone (except for the few that were from a website calendar that I belong to).
I'm pretty sure my calendar is completely hosed at this point. No backup on line anywhere (yeah, yeah, I know now. it was never being backed up!!!)
I even tried looking on-line for a hack type program that may be able to get into the S5 and there are several, but they don't seem to do calendars. By any chance, does anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to get back my old calendar?
I'm trying to resign myself to just entering in whatever I can remember.....but I'm having a glass of wine first. :-)
Try checking with your cell phone service provider. I've had really good luck at the local AT&T store for help with my new iPhone. Good luck! Maybe post the 'fix' when you find it?

Yeah, I did try that. They didn't have any ideas that I hadn't tried. But if I find an answer, I'll definitely post it

I use Google Calendar, and it appears on everything. Backing it up is irrelevant.

It doesn't seem to be a better solution that even you don't have it.
