It's the "Version One Point Oh" problem: Never buy anything where the version number begins with a one or ends with a zero. That's the one Marketing shoved out the door to claim market position. It's buggy and it's slow. :)
What wrath? After 30 years as a top camera repair tech authorized since the 1960's to provide factory warranty service to Nikon, Leitz, Olympus, Topcon, Ricoh, Canon, Hasselblad, Minolta, Mamiya, Yashica, Contax, Pentax and a host more, there is not much more wrath left.
I will offer all you with raised wrath this snippet.
The Canon and Nikon digital cameras today are awsome technical devices of sheer beauty and ellegance, and with such tools at hand one would be amazed if any pctures were less than perfect.

actualy one of the reasonsfor delays besides the fact that Japan is STILL recovering from earthquake, tsuami, and near nuclear meltdown is the olympic games in London this summer. i am sure both manufactures have to produce lots of new cameras for the media and games officials. if the d-4 was priced lower it would be in short supply to.
Just read a report that the D800s have a defect that causes them to lockup and are being recalled. This comes before most folks even got their cameras. I shoot Nikons but this has become a trademark for their new releases---ALWAYS wait and I said this the minute they announced the new releases.....
As it turns out...the Canon MK III light-bleed fix is 2" of gaff tape in the camera. :)
