More ."stuff".

I'm often criticized for calling my work my " stuff"...can't see that it matters what I call it, myself. I was asked about that during filming of "A Painter's Story"....a documentary film of my life so far. I'm often confused by folks reactions to seemingly minor things such as that. It seems that since I'm a well known artist, I'm expected to have a certain gravitas about the work. By some folk, that is....

David, I like your stuff. You have a great "Eye" to capture what you feel.

I think calling those images "stuff" is spot on. Technically these are mediocre, subpar snapshots with some digital filters in a futile effort to embellish them...and failing miserably.Nothing remotely close to been art. Also you have posted the same images at least a couple of times now.

My, my...have I offended your grace in some way?

I admit to having a terrible memory for what I have and/or have not posted. If I have repeated myself, and you find that bothersome and my images mediocre .... I have a suggestion.

Don't look at my "stuff". And take your negatively oriented commentary and go pound sand with it, jerk.

If you are a well known artist (like you claim) you should take not only the good (and shallow) positive comments but also the negative ones. I stand %100 behind my initial post, yes these are extremely mediocre snapshots. Sorry it is what it is. Instead of calling names like a 12 year old consider improving your skills. That would be the most logical thing to do from a "well known artist".

You seem to have an overweening desire to prove what a sophisticated critic you are. Probably stems from a deep seated sense of poor self image. Now, I admit to being. Rank beginner at photography. I never claimed to be anything else. But it does happen that I am a well known artist in my particular field. I fail to understand hey that should bother you. Except that it may threaten your childish insecurities. I may well be a "well known plumber", or a "well known street sweeper". What difference does it make to you?

And I don't much give a rat's ass whether you "stand by" your comments or not, since I don't attach any credence to negative commentary. Constructive criticism has value...sniping? Not so much. But I do "stand by" my comments....you are still a jerk. And probably a "well known jerk". If you don't like my images, for christs sake don't look at them. Just go away.
