Had a wonderful opportunity Saturday & Monday to watch the Eagles go about their business.

Excellent set.
Thanks Jim! I'm pretty proud over these. ;)
Terrific series! So after the parent dropped the fish, it went down and retrieved? I didn't know if they would do that or not.

Thanks Linda! No, the other parent was watching & retrieved it. Which was pretty cool to see part of. (too many trees & down over the hill to actually see the Eagle pick it up, though.)

Yes, even more cool to learn it was a joint effort. The neatest thing I've seen so far, in past 3 years of eagle nest watching (with 4th year just beginning) is when Dad went underwater trying to catch a very large fish. They are beside a river, so he was being taken downstream by the current, trying to swim his way to shore with his catch.
He called, and a couple of minutes later, Mom (larger) flew to the spot (now out of sight by me, but in view of 3 other photographers who had gone running down the road along the river!) and was able to bring home the bacon :)
Great Sequence of the Eagles you captured. Outstanding and perfect color and light plus super sharp.
