Here is an example of using my camera and lens in very low lighting. I used ISO 12,800, F4 with IS. All shots were hand held and shutter speeds listed.

Thanks, Nikonian. #3 was part of the cave ceiling as I was walking through a narrow passage way.

Thanks, PixelStan. It was a great place to take my camera and lens to it's limits. I wasn't sure if my lens wide open at F4 was going to be able to do the job. I also wanted to test the camera at ISO 12,800.

That was my first real cave experience. It was something else. I shot a lot of pictures there. It was pretty amazing.

Thanks, Jay. I would have never been able to get these handheld shots at those shutter speeds if it wasn't for the IS on the lens. It's just an example of how nice it is to have IS or VR on a lens.
