President Obama advised the British people they should v**e to stay in the EU.
Being in the Eu means that about 60% of our laws are made in Brussels.
There is not one American that would put up with their laws being made outside of their country so why should their President advise the British people to do it?

No country has ever left the EU. This will be interesting to watch. What will be the repercussions if the UK leaves the EU? Will there be subtle, or not so subtle, retaliation? Will England go back to the £? England stayed out of the EU for so long, but they eventually thought it was in their best interest to join.

I should mention that a lot of our laws are made in Washington DC rather than in our State. Sounds pretty similar to UK/Brussels situation to me.

I hope they will leave if, it is in the best interest of their country. No country should subject itself to being disciplined and control by outsiders from other cultures that do not have their interest at heart and have an agenda. It is not a matter of going along to get along but is a matter of doing what is right.

Obama is just grandstanding. Remember, he gave the Winnie Statue back to the Brits when he got into the WH, and now he is playing nice by acting sweet with the Queen and her GGson. Can't wait until he is out making speeches for $200K apiece. Oh, wait, that's Hillary. God save the USA.

That is our problem: we tolerate fools and do nothing about it. The people who actually work and pay taxes are constantly screwed. Yet we just sit around and take it. Big changes must come.

Many will say that one of the reasons we had the Civil War because the didn't want Washington to make laws for the states.
