I like this image for a number of reasons. Great leading fence line, she is perfectly positioned, the headlights are blurred. Excellent conditions for B/W. My only comment, I would have considered another perspective other than eye level.

I agree Mark, another perspective such as a low angle would have been so much better. Thanks for your comments.

Hold on there Miss, I have some questions for you. Please present your ID Mam. You say you are a bag lady but no self respecting bag lady would be out in this weather, they would have already found shelter. And that is an expensive looking camera, do you have a receipt or proof that it is yours? What, you say you are out shooting photographs, now who in their right mind would be doing that in this weather and at this time of the morning?
Mr. Chin, you state that this bag lady is your photographic partner? I will need to see your ID as well. You say you just wanted to do a little something out of your comfort zone? Why don't you just try eating some raw oysters for breakfast with some cold beers? You could do that inside and also be dry.
Yea Minnie & Dave I am a little crazy but not stupid but I would have been there right alongside you if I could have. Maybe in the not to distant future.

Guilty as charged Don !!! No ID available. I was offered the raw oysters but turned them down so only thing available at the time was ... walking in the rain.

I know you would have been there alongside as others most likely would have too.

A wonderful picture, well done. The added bonus is Minnie is your model. Your dedication also showed , since you were there in the rain at 7AM to take the shot.

Thank you NJFrank !!! I had no choice, Minnie made me, LOL.

Who in their right mind indeed? Many of us, I expect. The oyster places weren't open at 7AM so we settled for cafe au lait and a plate of beignets. You can see Dave was a little damp from the Minnie Walk at this point, but he was a brave soul and did not complain about the insanely horrible weather. It rained cats and dogs as it can do only in NOLA but the rain shows you a different face of the city.

Oh my, Minnie !!! I do think it would be a good idea for you to check and see if your camera is still working. By the way, I got an estimate from Nikon yesterday $335.00. Expensive mistake of stupidity.

Rain or shine we had fun !!!

Indeed we did! Repair isn't as bad as I feared from the looks of things, mine was almost that bad the time my husband trying to take a picture with it.

Not as bad as I thought it might be Dave. What are they going to have to replace?

Don, Actually, the cost was inline on what I was thinking. I'm not sure what has been replace as I have not received any info other than cost and tracking number from UPS. Hopefully there will be info with the camera when it arrives.
