Looking for info on Dog Breeder(s)

As some of you may know, our little angel was killed last week by a hit and run.

Angelica was a rescue my wife and I got about 7 years ago. We also had another Maltese named Teddy Bear who passed away from a failing heart valve 14 years and 1 day after we got him.

Teddy Bear came from a small breeder in north Delaware, near Claymont I believe. They worked out of their home. I have since lost the information I had on the breeder and was wondering if anyone familiar with Maltese breeders in that area may have some information. The wife and I are interested in seeing if we can find a new puppy who may be from the same blood lines as Teddy Bear.

If not, we're also interested in finding a reputable Maltese breeder in this area; south east PA, north DE. We're not interested in Lancaster county puppy mills or any breeder like that. We prefer a small, family run operation.

Any information that helps us find a new puppy is appreciated.

Down here, we would tell you to look up the Maltese Club in your area, and they would be able to help you find a good kennel.

So sorry you have lost your baby,,,, a new pup will arrive with love to share.

That is an excellent idea, I'll see if I can find one.

There is an almost painful emptiness in our home at the present. We haven't been without the patter of little doggie paws since 1997.

So sorry for your loss. I do hope you find another little angel to love. There are lots of "Maltese rescue" that have pups that need rescue too.
I lost my Rocky yesterday and my heart is so heavy with sadness that I thought..ah, I will check a replacement. That is not possible. He was so special a one of a kind little love. I just need to feel these feelings..I am broken as I am sure you are. So so sorry for your loss.

Go to American Kennel Club web site for a purebred dog.

Ask your pets veterinarian if he knows of a local good breeder.
