Interesting article and answered my questions about the differences.
Studio photography would be about the only thing that the camera would be good for (in my humble opinion). For the rest of us, it isn't worth the extra $300. If you are wondering about the difference, do read the article.

Just read an article where the D800 already are having problems that need to be recalled and this is before most folks even got their high tech model. I stated to be careful of these new models because as a Nikon user this has almost become a trademark of their newly released models for years. It's the norm and Canon is right behind them with their newest model having glitches........
