Here are a couple of shots I took of tonights moon about 10:30PM probably would have been better earlier but I was busy.
Great shots!
What equipment/settings did you use?
Saturdays moon is supposed to be one of the largest in a long time! But this looks pretty big to me!

OK folks note the detail on these - on the full moon night you can not get this because of the full reflection of the sun - shootem now and after.
Hi Silver Fox,
Your photos look very good. Glad someone got a moon shot. I keep forgetting.
I just downloaded this one out of 14 - this is right out of the camera not bragging on this one as I think I could boost the ISO this was 100

Those are great photos of our Lady, the moon. Can't wait to see her on tomorrow, can't believe it could look and bigger nor brighter than the ones you captured. Happy moon gazing!
I shot yesterday night's moon (5/3/12) just around midnight.
Closest Moon Approaches...
Maybe it's just me, but they look just like the moon when it's not so close. Perhaps a shot with a terrestrial feature as a reference might be more dramatic.
Mike D:
I shot these with a Nikon D90 and a Sigma 50 500 APO DG OS.
F8 250 sec ISO 200
