After a brief storm with heavy rain strong wind and some 3/4 inch hail we were presented with these beautiful clouds.

Nice photos. Had a lot of storms up here in my area in the last 3 days. Some even tornadic that came at night to my South.

Thank you. When we lived in Kansas we had to go to our storm shelter several times. Especially bad at night when you can't see em comming!

There was a real nasty one last night to my South with a Dopplar Indicated Tornado during the dark. Luckily no tornado but a lot of straight line wind damage there. Had a lot of storms move through my immediate area lately (last one just 2 hours ago) but nothing major. You are lucky. Be safe out there.

Do you see the profile of an "ape man" in larger pix near the top center, or was there something in those brownies :-)

Beautiful.I live by The Big Lake.(Michigan),and we were soundly spanked by the terrific storm as well.. Trees down;power lines down.
Glad you were able to get out and capture the clouds.If the lightning hadn't been so strong,I would have loved to have been watching the storm over the lake.

Thanks Photo guy, we are now getting the weather you just had, (past 3 days) in NJ. For 2 months dry as a bone, my daughter asked if I would build her new deck this week...took the week off and nothing but rain...guess I'll have to do a bit of photoging instead. :)

Last night we had heavy rain with flood warnings. We had lightning and thunder all night long. Power was out from 12:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Some areas in Michigam had buildings blown down. Not that severe here by Middlevill, Michigan where we live.

If you look hahd and long enough and eat enough brownies or drink enough black coffee you might just start seeing "ape man" around midnight.

Last night we were "blessed" with those conditions also.
