A lot of holes in the rafters of my daughter's deck. The chips would pile up in the entrance and every so often he would stick his head out and clear out the hole then disappear, back to work.

Great shots Photog21
Did you have to wait long for them to put in an appearance?

Nice shots Wally!!! But you do not want them to hang around! They will eat the whole board and weaken it. They got into the back of my shop and I had to replace the boards. After you get down shooting them. Take some Seven dust and putty and mix them together and fill the hole.

Thanks Douglass, he was definitely enlarging this hole as he continued to bring out chips at a fairly good clip.

Thanks PaulBa, no he was very busy. About every 2 or 3 minutes you would see activity inside the hole and the chips would pile up in the entrance. After about 4 or 5 trips he would stick his head out as in the pic to clear the hole and then went back to work.

Thanks Erv, my daughter is moving this month, plus the rafters are already full of holes, an entrance every 3 or 4 feet, so they do need to be replaced but not by me.
