We purchased this (pic 1) last year with one of the primary motivations being to enhance our photo taking opportunities. Last weekend I was able to capture Pic 2 happening over my head as I was,, eh,, well,, sort of driving. (site disclaimer: this stunt was performed by an unstable non-professional, DO NOT ATTEMPT!)

I hope you weren't the one taking the picture while driving. If so, the Ringling Brothers may have a spot for you. Do you also where face paint, ware a smile, and have way too many people in your car for a circus act?

That's the best part about a rag top. If you drive it into a lake while taking pictures, you can swim out real easy.

Great car, great story, great photos. And to think, we have only been warned about texting while driving.

No, just taking pics is enough of a circus act for me.

Thanks Molly. Luckily I don't even own a cellphone. (although I hear they do have cameras in them now...)

Shooting while driving is fine as long at you are using a wireless remote.

My wife has a young friend with a crazy husband. He rode his Harley about 80 on the freeway while...uh....having his way with the seat. She matched his speed and took a video of him in the act.

Just no telling where they left their brain buckets ... The older I manage to get the more I wonder how old the next generation is going to make it ....

Nice captures Will. Somewhat unorthodox approach, but you can't deny the results.......yet. Perhaps a "designated driver" is in order for this concept. LOL

i thought the ultimate photography acsessory would be an unlimited credit line visa with no expectations of being paidback. " hello Nikon i want to buy a tractor trailer full of d-800's delivered yesterday!"
