A thought in layers

Hi folks
This is a little peice I sent with a pic of the week I send out as you can imagine weekly. The image was done in layers and alot of hand work. I do this each week, but I was interested in the thoughts of fellow hoggers. The doggerel is mia coulpa.

A country road, in the early bleakness of spring. A ride, a word, a thought so fine. To find I think it was not truly mine. I wondered, as we moved, could this be quick, or all in me. The miasma feeling, and bits of fear, did indeed tease the emotion along my edges. The end of this strange yet beauty of a road did come. Real, or not my question is, I saw or not this short and wondrous passage such. When real was assured, restored and felt. I cleared, I said please let it be, if only just some.

Very imaginative! Can't say I like the road dead center I'll give you an A+ for originality.

Wonderful effect. I agree that you could have shot a bit more to you right, but maybe not.

This version sure sets a mood. Did you throw in a little Smart Editor? They do something very similar with the sky.

Breaking the rules can be very effective, and you've done it extremely well here, in my opinion. This is creative and not the same old same old.
We need more of this.
Well done.

Most interesting. It looks like someone upstairs was smoking a cigarette.

Dream-like and very original. My suggestion would be to ease off the vignette along the bottom, leaving more of an arch rather than the complete ellipse.

You are brilliant! I did not think of it. I will make alterations before I send it out to my pic of the week.

I would have framed it with the road at diagonal but interesting. As to the words. I get spells like that. I have dipped into poetry in the past.
