Lightroom and Outlook on a Mac

I've recently switched to using Microsoft Outlook as my email client on my Mac and would like to find a way to have Lightroom open up Outlook when I email out a photo from LR. Currently LR brings up the Mac mail client which I'm trying to move away from.

I know this is a highly specific question but I'd welcome any hints!

As a possible work around, in LR export the image to a thumb drive..email size.. Then us your Microsoft Outlook to send it.

File->Email Photo, open the email dialogue screen. There will be a destination listed - in your case it will be the Mac mail client. It is a drop list, so click on the arrow to the right of the field and select Outlook as the destination.

I have a MAC & use Outlook and this is the method I use--it works fine.

You can send by defaulting to your normal pop or imap client or by setting up Lightroom to act as a send only email client.

I know, and so did the OP. QCS simply stated the redundant obvious. My comment was based on the fact that QCS did not read and comprehend the post. Another case of the fingers typing before the brain engaged. A phenomena of which we have all been guilty of at times.
