Has anyone dealt with a web store called Quick Stop Camera?
Never heard of them. If your looking to buy a camera on-line, go to a reputable dealer like Adorama, B&H just to name a few. If you seen a deal from Quick Stop Camera that sounds too good to be true....it probably is.
Thanks, thats what I thought.

Doesn't sound familiar. It takes less than an hour for someone to set up a quickie camera site and post low prices. Stick with the main sellers.

What camera are you considering? Are you only looking at new or will you also consider refurbished?
I recommend the many authorized Canon/Nikon/... dealers who have established an honest, competitive reputation. BHPhoto, Adorama, Profeel, Cameta, Amazon are among them. If you have one that is promoting significantly better prices, check them out carefully.

Looks like they should change their name to "Quick Scam".
I think that's possibly the worst review I've ever seen on Reseller Ratings. Pretty amazing.
Hide your credit card and run away fast!
RULE OF THUMB:
If something is much cheaper than B&H Photo, Adorama and a few of the other large, long established camera stores... be suspicious. Those mega-stores... and Amazon probably... are the highest volume and likely to have the most competitive prices. Any other store that's undercutting their prices very much must also be cutting corners somewhere else in order to do so.
try B&H .
Do not trust a unknown
I'm thinking of buying a Pentax F1. I'm looking for opinions? I've been a Pentax person since high school. Have lenses out the ass so it's hard to change. Comments?

Read the replies .Go to B&H AND YOU CANT GO WRONG
Hi Neighbor,..Besides the "big" guys like B&H, Cameta and Adorama, I've used Robert's Camera out of Indianapolis. They are a top flight outfit with great personal service and good prices/fast shipping. They aren't that far down the road(I-65) from us and are a reputable family type of business.
Thanks for the info, I have Helix Camera in Itasca I happened to stumble across that website and figured I ask the UHH for info am going to stay away sounds like a good deal is a bad deal.
