This is a very heavy crop so not a great photo but I liked the pose so made it into my own piece of art - your critique welcomed as always.

I like the pp and toning.

Quite an amazing bit of action you captured, but difficult to reconcile that they are just playing.

They really are playing Linda - they eat, live, sleep and play together, and if they get separated they are looking for each other. Play fighting is perfectly natural in dogs - a second or two after this shot they were chasing each other up and down the beach, which is without doubt their favourite pastime. Many thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments.

I really really like this, and you have made it into art. It is a wonderful "moment" caught just right, and the processing takes it past the snapshot it started as. Excellent work!

Oh those teeth!

Thanks for commenting min. I take literally dozens of shots of these two dashing about and the open beach is probably the easiest place to get something decent. In this case I hadn't intended taking them and had the wrong lens for the job but they were enjoying themselves so much I couldn't resist - they were really too far off for the best results. Still, it created something I like and has set me on looking at a little series of them. They may look serious but they both have very gentle natures!

Nothing like a good mongrel is there Billy? They cost you little in vet fees and give maximum pleasure in owning. I wouldn't have anything else. Thanks for looking.

Wow, that larger dog has quite a large clamping ability based on the opening of it's mouth. I'm not sure I ever saw a dog open it's mouth that far - amazing! Nice job on the capture. I'm just glad my hand or arm is not in it's clutches - that would certainly be painful - ouch!

Nice shot and turning it into art works well. I love how you processed the image.

I love this! Your work on it to change it to memorable art is spot-on! 100 years from now, no one will know if its play fighting or for real but it would still stand up as a fantastic image of The Challenge !

Neither would bite you but the big one does like to hold your hand very gently - that has made one or two people jump, but she certainly wouldn't hurt you! Thanks for looking Tom.

Thanks Walt, I find myself more attracted to the pp possibilities nowadays so I might be posting more in due course.
