Ha! You got that right! That's the effect you get with 40 year old Ektachromes. Magenta seems to last longer than the other dyes that have faded.

Kodakchrome avoids fading of this type. But at the time, I developed and mounted the slides myself -- that couldn't be done with Kodachrome. I used to underexpose and overdevelop for greater saturation.

I suppose I could do some "Photoshoping" to correct somewhat, or go to B&W, but I kinda like the effect.
