Feds issue warning to Windows users to uninstall Apple Qucktime

Reuters, Fox News and other news services are reporting that Apple has announced that it no longer supports, nor will it provide security updates for Quicktime for Windows and other Non-Apple platforms. The Federal government and security experts are warning Windows users to immediately uninstall Quicktime from their computers do to vulnerabilities.

And if you don't want to uninstall it, remove it from your autorun/startup programs.

I've had problems over the years with QuickTime for Windows (and *.MOV) generally, When I get an *.MOV file, I usually convert it right away. As far as it goes you don't need QuickTime for Windows anyhow, Just use VLC. It can handle just about any format.
