I wanted to get a good moon shot just to see how my 100-400 Mk II with the new Canon 1.4X teleconverter stacks up.
Definitely better than the original 100-400 with my old Sigma teleconverter.

Thanks guys, I have often wondered if I should have bought the Sigma sport but I am pretty happy with this lens and TC combo.

Yeah, I have been buying a lot of gear in the last year and often buy similar lenses knowing that I will keep the one that best suits my needs and sell the other. What can I say, beats wasting the money on booze and drugs... LOL...
