This is a revised version but a different shot of Paul in San Antonio. Hopefully everyone will agree it is a much better version. For comparison here is the link to the other version. http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-382176-1.html

This is another excellent effort, but I still think the eyes could be better. They still look a bit funny, and on zooming in there seem to be a few pixels in the irises that have gone to white or very close. If it was mine I'd clone out those specular highlights and do something to give the eyes properly black, round pupils.

Those might sound like minor points, but the eyes are central to how the picture is perceived.

Thank you R.G. I'm not sure I can make much of an improvement on his eyes but I will give it a try. I agree they do have a strange look to them.

I'm still on the side of No. 1, no doubt about it. I could not find anything negative about it before, and still can't. I put the two side-by-side on screen and, that's my story and I'm stickin' with it.

Dave, this is a nice improvement over the first image. But I agree with R.G. the irises need just a little work to get the highlights off of the irises. If it were mine I'd use the clone tool, or the spot healing brush, both should work. Still, this is a really nice image.

Thank you Walt !!! I too, agree with the irises. I'll put it aside for now, only to come back to it in a few days.
