Have fun trying to make a presentable picture out of this raw (dmg) file. This is the famous/renown/sometimes mentioned back beach at Vik on the south coast of Iceland. The sea stacks are also famous/renown/sometimes mentioned. This was taken on a rainy blustery day and this is, believe it or not, a colour image.
The link to the DNG file is:

You have until midnight, Thursday PT to post them here then we'll turn it in for a vote.
Oh, this should be interesting! Thank you and enjoy the Galapagos! S-

Thanks, Steve. I should have something for your consideration when I get back. Don

This looked like fun. It was! There was color in the cliffs but to bring it out brought too much noise with it. What to do? FOG!
I don't have very good pp skills at this point but I really wanted to try my hand at this one. Here is my take. Nothing wild here.

Admittedly neither do I, but where better to learn and grow your skills? S-

My thoughts exactly. I have some medical leave time coming up and I figure it is as good a time as any to spend watching You Tube videos to get better.

Off hand, I'd say you underestimate your ability!
In LR - every thing zeroed, cropped, and a basic levels and contrast adjustment. The downsized for web publication and exported as a 8 bit tiff.
In Corel Painter Autopaint was used, with a thick camel cloner brush, to give it a "painterly" look.
Back into PS CC and a SilverEfex preset was used for a b&W conversion on a new layer. Then the opacity of that layer was reduced to allow just a very faint hint of colour.
Gave it some reality-bending PP.

Gave it some definite unreality PP!
Sorry mcveed I just could not get into your image so took it to Billys world. Sincerely hope you are OK with that.
I failed on a couple of attempts to draw color out of it, so when my new version of Tonality came by email I experimented with it. I'm disappointed though, with my version. It looks like a fascinating place.
