I am a Nikon 750 user. For my macro photography I use a Nikon 105. I'm considering adding a Lensbaby to my lens library but really don't know much about them other than there are many and individuals who are macro enthusiasts swear by them. Having said that what is the go to lens from Lensbaby for macro. Also, while this is my first post I have been reading and learning from all of you for the past 18 months. Thank you!

I think you will like your Nikon 105 better for macro shots. I find that a lens baby is a great lens to play with but that's about it. For me about one in a hundred tries work out like I would like it to. Perhaps it is worth it but it sure is a lot of work. - Dave

I use a lensbaby for all sorts of things including macro. Depending on how close you want to get carry some ext. tubes as well. Don't be disappointed in your first few try's, they probably won't turn out that good. There is a book on using all the lensbabies on Amazon, you need to get it and read it. Oh!, and don't let these guys on here convince you to a toy it's not! Kathleen Clemmons makes her living with one.

Lensbaby is a local company here in Portland. They sponsor a local pro photog group that has a competition category for lensbaby images. I know people who have used lensbaby lens for anything from landscapes to portraits to street photography. However, none of them use it as their main lens. I have considered getting a lensbaby, but when I consider how much use it would get after the novelty wears down, my conclusion is I can use that money for something else.
