I have received 5 or 6 rebates from Canon in the last few years. Always received them in 30 days or less. Except for a $100 rebate that never showed up. It seems you actually have to send in the forms if you want them to send you the rebate! :)

It took a little over a month for mine to come back, I neglected to send one of the several box bar codes they want. They informed me of this about 3 weeks after I mailed it in. I quickly sent the right one and after that, it came about 2 weeks later. Mine was a pre-paid American Express card with $350 on it.

you lucky dogs, i'm still waiting after 20 yrs. on one item I sent everything but the whole box and they still said I sent the wrong thing. unless I can get an in store rebate, I pass on the purchase. most rebates are handled by private companies. the opportunity for rip-off exist.

I had a lot of trouble getting my last rebate on a lens, because the claim handler wanted a specific document not readily available from the 'click and collect' paperwork.

I always got an e-mail reply saying we will be in touch in the next 3-5 working days and always found it went close to the last minute before a reply refusing it on a technicality.

Happened 3 times before resolution and made we wonder if the gunning for the time limit expiry.

I bought the package from B&H, the Canon 7D mark 2, Pro 100 printer, and 50 sheets of 13x19 paper, $350 rebate arrived in several weeks. no problem. Great deal.

I purchased from B&H. The rebate company said my "receipt" from them didn't qualify. I called B&H. They took over the issue and I got my rebate about 30 days later.

3 or 4 weeks.

That was for a purchase at the end of February (and was the same 7DII/printer bundle from B&H mentioned by RobertR above).

I had no trouble or delays submitting the rebate forms and documentation.

I didn't get all the barcodes sent the first time either. They let me know what I was missing and once I sent the rest in I had the rebate withing a couple of weeks.

Still waiting for 2 months. Gift card is not as flexible as a
check.

I just used it to pay for groceries one week that left the cash in the bank.
