Good Morning!! Curious how you photographers out there deliver your photographs to clients these days. The new computer has no space for cd's. Flash drives are so expensive. I have one colleague who 'lends' a flash drive ...... looking to see what you do ..... thanks!

It depends. I use CD, DVD, flash drives, email, text, DropBox, and various sharing sites with private accounts on them.

You can still buy external CD/DVD burners for all computer operating systems... I have an external that works with my iMac.

Thank you - I am thinking about Drop Box - with sharing sites, the client can download, correct??

I use WeTransfer for file sharing. Quick, simple, and easy.

if they're paying for them they get a flash drive, if not then they get email.

I don't have clients. If I did, and they were paying me, I would deliver on whatever they wanted. I wouldn't be asking an internet forum, I would be asking the customer!

An external USB CD/DVD drive is fairly cheap (I went middle of the road last year and think it was around $30). A lot cheaper to lose a CD than a flash drive in the mail...

Not to get off subject , but for those who mentioned external drives. I was at a Apple store checking into the IMACS & the sale person said u can get 1 for $79.

I deliver DVD/Dl's to my customers as final products. When working a wedding album, the interchange is on a 32 gig Flash Drive. I tell them to download ALL the pictures to their computer as a backup and start deleting the photos off the FLASH they do not want for consideration. When done, mail me back the FLASH.

Flash drives can be had for about $10. Just add the cost of drive to price and be done.

As other have noted, Dropbox is good but you put the onus of saving them on their computer or output device. I think the option of an inexpensive flash is better customer relations or get an external DCD/CD burner and be a complete professional.

I got a good Samsung on Amazon for $29 and it works fine with my iMac. My internal drive went bad so just using an external.
