Have any among us given consideration to trying out one of the new Hasselblad H6D lineup of medium format cameras ? One of them has a 100mb sensor which should be adequate for those wanting razor sharp images and if I had one of them, those D810s of mine could be retired or used as paper weights ? :):):):)

Those Hassies are extremely limited. They're mostly only good for still shots.
But if you only do landscape or still-life(portraits) I'm sure they're awsome.
Lenses are also very limited. Good luck if you get one. Get a 50mp Canon with a few fps instead and some real lenses!! ;-)

If you ever decide to turn a workable D810 into a paperweight, let me now and I will send you a solid brass duck in exchange - and I'll pay postage both ways. No, kidding, a solid brass duck!

That is one expensive paper weight. Everyone, send me all your unwanted Nikon D810 Paperweights! For that matter If anyone has a Hasselblad H5x Paperweight, send those too.

You might want to check with the wife before you commit to that.

The Canon 50mp will not be the same quality of the Hasselblad 50mp. John Hartman is a photographer in Stevens Point WI, the same town I had my first studio in.
He shoots with Canon and Hasselblad and posted some comparison images in a photography forum on Facebook. I can't post the link to them because it is a group you have to join.
You get what you pay for.

Here is his home page

I will buy several of your over 8 D810's. (that you have stated in previous posts you own) And since you also have the sigma 200-500 2.8 lens that you will not be needing anymore let me be the first to offer you $100.00 for your lot of D810's and sigma lens. Your new Hasselblad H6D 100c is only $32,995.00 and the Hasselblad H6D 50C is only $25,995.00. Why trade in your equipment when I will give you cash now. Think about it. The clock is ticking and I am sure B&H will be selling out of those Hasselblad's soon. God bless and keep on shooting until the end.

No Hasselblad for me ! Too much money and too much camera for this poor boy and Nikon D810s are all that this guy will need for the remainder of his lifetime.. Have yet to see a camera any better.....

No problem, she hates the old Toyota. It is not a classic, far from a 1965 Mustang or 1963 Corvette or a car she once had, a 1971 Nova. In fact within two years I'll trade the old 1984 Toyota for any Pentax F, FA, or D FA lens (i.e. Full Frame).

Just how big do you want to print? You could wait a bit, Canon is working on a 250MP APS-C sensor, supposedly with the low light capability of present crop sensors. The only good reason IMO to go MF is the even-shallower DOF as compared to FF.
