Not looking for any critique just thought you would like to see some fellow hoggers in the flesh. Dave Chin and his lovely wife Sharon were in New Orleans today so we met up for a photo shoot around the French Quarter. Not a good day for shooting, washed out skies and a LOT of rain in the AM but we made the best of what we had been given. Hope you enjoy.

What a good idea to meet your e-pals. In years gone by there were pen pals, now I call them e-pals. It looks as if you are all enjoying each others company and what lovely photos too.

I was another party in this New Orleans adventure, though circumstances prevented me from meeting Don this time. I did spend a day shooting in the French Quarter with Dave Chinn, great fun in spite of dreadful weather. Here's Dave doing what good street photographers do, establishing a connection with his subject.

OK, this could turn into something big....
A week-end Hog-a-thong... no, that that's not a good image... Hog-a-THON! Yes!! That's it! Group/park at my house, commandeer a street car to the Quarter, photos, conviviality, refreshments and maybe even discussion afterwards.... sounds exciting!!

Glad you and Dave had a great time Minnie. Very sorry that I could not make the Wednesday shoot.

Nice shots. I have shot with Dave in the past close to two years ago. He is a great person. I have not had the chance to meet his wife, but have heard good things about her. She is most likely as lovely on the interior as she is on the exterior.
Nice work of poor weather and shooting conditions. Thanks for posting these.

Thanks for viewing and your comments Tom. We really had a great time together. I am still working on other shots I took that day and will be posting in the near future.You are correct about Sharon, a great person.
