Babies in the trees (Viera Wetlands)

The anhingas are white and fluffy, and the great blue herons are growing fast. One nest was almost blown out of the tree in a storm, but the mother kept sitting on the egg, and they managed to move the chick back up to the top of the tree and rebuild the nest.

Great progress report Steve. I didn't know Anhinga chicks were so light colored. Very nice captures.
