I'm trying to think of a term used in photography but I can't think of it, it's somethings like algorithm. Can anyone help?
Thanks,

It would help if you described the way you would use the camera!

Any hints as to what context in which it may be used would help.

Aperture Priority? One uses f/stop settings to control DOF, and to some extent, the admission of light. Lower f/stops (f/2.8, f/4, f/3.6 admit more light, but have very narrow DOF ...... higher apertures (f/8, f/11, f/22) generally work only in very bright light, but provides a very wide DOF for front-to-back focus.

I believe you meant Logarithmic in Photography. Thus far one person gave the correct spelling and the other a good definition. Had it not been for the correct spelling, I could have never guessed. Thank goodness for smart people on this forum. Google it like I did.
