I want to get a wireless Shutter Release remote for my Canon T3i Camera. Need to keep cost under $50.00. I see some on Amazon that shows they use the Hot Shoe, I want to be able to use hot shoe for external flash so those don't work for me. Is there a good wireless one that will work with my camera?

I use a remote shutter release that is pretty much like a tv remote control. Push the button the camera fires. eBay: about $6.00. Is there something I don't know?

try this : at Amazon :"Vello wireless shutter release". If you need to use your Flash, get an L bracket for the release reciever,The release will plug in on the side of the camera and mount on L bracket leaving hot shoe for the flash. The shutter release will be contolled by a wireless remote. You can also just let the reciever just dangle, but be careful not to let it pull out

She's not looking for a "flash trigger", she's looking for a wireless Shutter Release remote for a Canon T3i Camera.

Any wireless Shutter Release remote for a Canon T3i Camera will work and they use the hot shoe just to have a place for the receiver to mount instead of dangling from the wire. You can free up the hot shoe as recommended above with an "L" frame or strobe frame or some velcro or rubber band.

A search on eBay under "wireless remote shutter release" will get you a flood of such devices, very many of which will fit your cost parameter.
