Those are so bitchin' (sorry for the term from my teen years, <1975.)

I like seeing how the animals actually use their camouflage.

If you can use terms from your teens then so can I. I think the shots and set are groovy ('50s)

Bruce, that was super thoughtful! But I don't mind at all seeing another's take on the same subject matter. Great captures! That's awesome that you got the pair. I think it's a small miracle when we can see them at all with their extensive camouflage. Thanks for sharing! Number one is my favorite!

Owls are territorial and can be called in with an owl call, they think it is another owl coming to invade their territory and fly in to defend it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ma2VwU9ujtc
